Associate Editor Information

Welcome to DSJ Online. The Decision Sciences Journal (DSJ) is pleased to have you as a member of its Editorial Team, sharing the goal to provide superior customer service to authors who submit manuscripts to DSJ. Central to achieving that goal is for authors to have prompt access to reviews that provide clear, meaningful feedback. Your services as an Associate Editor are fundamental to gleaning the best articles that can be published in DSJ. You are critical to DSJ's success, and we appreciate your involvement.
Tutorials Several Tutorials for Associate Editors are available in DSJ Online's HELP & TUTORIALS section to assist you with the evaluation submission process and administrative details. Each provides step-by-step instructions that you can download or print, or to which you can simply refer. The Getting Started tutorial guides the new Associate Editor through setting up an Associate Editor User Profile and other administrative aspects of DSJ Online.

Review Process Every manuscript will undergo a review process that involves two Reviewers, an Associate Editor, and the Editor. Please study the procedure so you can best understand your role in it and how to provide informative and developmental recommendations.
Manuscript Evaluation Criteria and Guidelines Manuscripts submitted to DSJ for publication consideration are judged on specific criteria. All evaluations must follow a specific format, and should include separate Comments to the Editor and Comments to the Author.
Topic and Methodological Areas of Expertise Because it is so important that the most appropriate associate editors appraise a specific manuscript submitted, associate editors must indicate fitting review key words that best define their topic and methodological areas of expertise. This also helps ensure that requests for your involvement are limited to areas in which you are most knowledgeable and familiar.
